About

Hi, I'm Francesca.

I've worked with children and families for over 15 years and have been a qualified children's therapist since 2018. My therapeutic work has included specialist experience in fostering, adoption and domestic abuse, as well as supporting families navigating challenges such as behaviour, big emotions, school and relationships.

Throughout my career, I've seen how often families are surrounded by advice but still unsure what will actually work for their child. I've also witnessed first-hand how understanding the science behind a child's development can help adults make sense of children's behaviour and emotions.

That's why I created Nurture Your Neurons: to bring together my therapeutic experience and knowledge of child development and brain science in a clear, personalised and genuinely useful way. Through my services, I help you understand what may be happening for your child and equip you with practical strategies for everyday  life.

As a mum myself, I know that real family life is messy, emotional and rarely as straightforward as parenting books or social media make it sound. My aim is to help you feel more confident, strengthen your relationship and find approaches that work for the child you have.
